MG Building Materials was founded in 1972 in San Antonio, Texas, by Maurice Grothues and his four sons. As a family-owned business now in its third generation, we have grown to operate five retail stores across South Central Texas and the Texas Hill Country, including locations in San Antonio, Pleasanton, Corpus Christi, Kerrville, and Uvalde.
