We empower individuals and small developers seeking to build their own projects, providing an efficient and reliable solution with peace of mind during the process. We can work with your architects or you can work with one of ours to create your own design, or you can choose from one of our award-winning LivingHomes and make it yours.

Plant started as a residential design studio, collaborating with Ray Kappe, FAIA, KieranTimberlake, and other leaders in the field to design and build homes more efficiently. For more than a decade we struggled to find prefabricators who understood design and could consistently meet our standards for quality and sustainability. We founded Plant as a solution. Plant is a new kind of homebuilding factory and system, optimized to work with architects on custom projects. Our mission is to make it easy and efficient for your clients to build the incredible homes you design for them.

We believe that everyone deserves to live in a well-designed, beautiful, functional, and healthy home. We believe that you should never have to sacrifice form for function, aesthetics for efficiency, or style for sustainability. And we know that great design begins with great ideas. That's why we collaborate with some of the world's most talented architects and designers to create our LivingHomes. Some Plant Design Partners can also be engaged to create a new, custom home design for you.
