Corrao Electric Co., Inc. is a Residential and Commercial electrical contracting company servicing all of Southeastern MA. We are a husband and wife, team based business, that is committed to providing our customers with the best possible experience dealing with an electrical contractor. What makes your experience with us unique is that all along the way you will be dealing with both of us. While Ken is the licensed expert in the field, he will perform all electrical services for your project. Jillian will be on the project to make sure things are going as smooth as possible, taking photos of the work if requested and to handle any questions from the homeowner from the design stage all the way to planning future projects.

Hiring an electrician is a decision that must be made with care. There are many contractors out there who do not carry the proper credentials, i.e. licenses, insurances, certifications, education and experience necessary to practice in the trade. At Corrao Electric, you are guaranteed to be working with a professional who is a Licensed Master Electrician in MA, RI and NH, who has undergone years of education to gain these certifications, and continues to do so on an ongoing basis. Education is a big part of our company.

A general rule of thumb for the life span of an electrical panel is approximately 20-30 years. Anytime you question the integrity of your panel whether it is for any of the reasons above or for something else, it is always wise to contact an electrician, as we have the tools and troubleshooting skills to handle the problem. Do not attempt to diagnose or fix any problem that extends beyond re-setting a tripped breaker in your electrical service panel. The voltage of electricity that flows through your home is immense, and is dangerous therefore it should only be handled by a licensed professional electrician.

Remodeling your home, while it is well worth the investment, can also be quite a stressful time. When you are remodeling your home it is extremely important not only to have an electrician that you trust in your home, but also one who specializes in this type of work. These are the things you must take into consideration when hiring an electrician, electrical contractor, or any contractor for that matter with regards to your remodeling project. When you hire Corrao Electric, all of the worries mentioned above are eliminated (see our FAQs).

Springtime is when remodeling season is in high gear! Kitchen and bathrooms are always the first rooms to date themselves in a home, and are often times, the most extensive areas to renovate as well. Most people wonder why a bathroom would be difficult seeing that it is typically the smallest room in the house. The reasons are plenty! In this article we will cover why bathroom remodeling is such a project and small things you can do that make a big impact on the finished product! Your home was built in 1975.
