Tom Anderson began working as a Carpenter in 1978 on some of the first Condominium Projects in Jamaica Plain. Tom soon acquired expertise in tiling bathroom floors and walls and discovered a passion for this new form of art in his life. Tom opened Anderson Tile Contracting for business in 1980. As Anderson Tile moved through the 80s and into the 90s, the company began to install kitchen floors, kitchen counters, and kitchen back splashes. Entire bathrooms were becoming the rage as well. We introduced Granite Slab kitchen counter installations started in the late 80s and now orchestrate slab installations for Kitchens, Bathrooms and Fireplace Surrounds in conjunction with the tile applications.
