Many metal roofs and aged flat roofs made of EPDM, TPO, PVC, Modified Bitumen and rolled roofing can be preserved by applying a silicone roof coating to the existing surface. The silicone coating provides a reflective, waterproof membrane that is easily cleaned and repaired, and includes manufacturer warranty options that can be extended with additional coats. Silicone roof coatings can be faster, more economical and far less disruptive than tearing out and replacing a roof, but require completely dry layers of insulation and substrate.
