Additionally, he met with us more than once to make sure that he understood what was desired. To ensure your tile and stone stays in great condition, proper maintenance is essential. Cleaning is easiest and most effective when done regularly! Always clean up spills as soon as possible. Dirt and dust can scratch the surface of some stone, so your floor should be vacuumed or dust mopped frequently to remove abrasive agents from the stone surface. Always choose products specifically designed for tile or natural stone because they are pH neutral. Common household cleaners (ammonia, bleach, glass cleaner, etc.) are acidic and can destroy the surface of the tile and the grout.
