How to Measure for Your Overlay Doors and Drawer Fronts DO NOT ORDER BY OPENING SIZE DIMENSIONS 1. Choose your hinges first: This will determine what size overlay is needed. 2. Measure opening size to the nearest 1/16. Notate Height and Width. 3. Add overlay amount to each opening size according to the hardware you selected. If you have two doors in the same opening with no stile separating the doors (Buddy doors) you need to divide by 2. This will give you the size of each door.
