In 1997, Pinnacle Cabinet Company was founded in Mount Pleasant Michigan by three McDonald brothers. The McDonald family roots in Mount Pleasant date from the 1870's. Each of the brothers has a background in the building industry and an interest in fine woodworking. After providing cabinetry locally for a few months they set their sights on a broader market. In 1998, the first authorized Pinnacle Dealer was established in southern Michigan and additional dealers were and continue to be added. The typical Pinnacle dealer is well established in their market area, possesses superior design skills and has a wealth of knowledge about the process of designing and installing award winning projects.
The Pinnacle series cabinets are finished with a world class catalyzed polyurethane from the Italian finish manufacturer, ICA. The series offers a nearly infinite selection of stain and solid colors along with many special finish techniques that include 6 forms of distressing, 3 distinct types of glazing applications and a variety of sheen options. Crackle finishes, semi-opaque tinting options and many "Old World" look finishes are in our repertoire. Each year we develop more than one hundred "unique to the customer" finishes along with the hundreds of every day stains and solid colors.
