When someone says cabinetry, the first thing most people think of is the kitchen, then maybe the bath. At Backwoods Custom Cabinets, we think differently. In fact, we custom craft cabinetry and other fine pieces for virtually every room in the home. In addition to cabinetry for the kitchen and bath, we craft furniture such as tables, armoires and entertainment centers. We make decorative treatments such as fireplace surrounds, hearths and mantels, as well as wainscoting, turnings, posts, legs, corbels, and much more.
Bryan and Fred Wilson founded and started Backwoods Custom Cabinets, LLC in Warsaw, MO on January 1, 1998. Working from a small shop we had to focus on our quality and service to help us grow. In 2004 Backwoods Custom Cabinets, LLC moved to our current location between Warrensburg and Higginsville, Missouri (about 12 miles north of Warrensburg on Hwy 13). With this move we were able to streamline our business and increase our output. In 2008 we expanded our building and were able to provide stained woodwork to our customers.
