Messenger Systems builds easy-to-use systems by combining the functionality of manufacturer remotes in one simple-to-use universal remote control. We eliminate 75% of the buttons by taking only the commonly used functions from each remote and adding them to the new remote control. Built onto the computer network backbone, video surveillance systems or nanny-cams can be added to new or existing homes. Covert cameras can be discretely located around your property for peace of mind or for watching the kids while you're away.
Our founder, Robert A Messenger opened Messenger Security Systems after years of experience in the alarm industry working for other area companies. After schooling and a tour of service in the armed forces Messenger Security Systems, Inc. was established in 1975. The computer industry was just getting started and the company became involved in wiring and providing many types of communications, sound, audio and video distributions systems. As computer based products became more popular and integrated into everything from kids toys to rockets the company's name became simply Messenger Systems.
Imagine touching one button as you exit the garage. The house lights dim or turn-off as perimeter lights turn on, the stereo and television shut off, the thermostat drops the heat four degrees and the alarm system arms itself. Today's technology makes all this possible. Home automation combines many separately operated subsystems such as alarm, lighting, and climate control into one integrated panel. This panel can be built into a wall or many walls, or it can be a wireless hand-held tablet. The panel can also be used for stereo, pool/spa or security camera images.
