In 1947, Samuel Boggs founded Richmond Alarm (then called Southern Burglar Alarm Company). Over the years, Richmond Alarm grew and became Richmond Alarm Companies-a single brand comprised of 3 different locations in Richmond, Hampton Roads and Lynchburg. As the largest local security company in Virginia, RAC offers all the advantages of a big, national brand. But there are a few crucial differences between us and national brands. We may be the largest local security company in Virginia but we'll always be small enough to give you personalized attention.
