BlackKite-I is an infrared (IR) wide-area motion imagery (WAMI) sensor configured specifically for the payload bay of the Insitu Integrator, a Group 3 unmanned aircraft system (UAS). Like larger day/night WAMI systems, BlackKite-I monitors a city-sized area in near real-time, detecting and tracking all significant movers in the scene, while also recording events for later analysis. BlackKite-I employs our multi-modal edge processor (MMEP), a high-performance processor that converts gigabytes of data into geo-tagged imagery-eight hours of which can be stored locally, while the sensor is still airborne.

BlackKite delivers infrared (IR), wide-area motion imagery (WAMI) in a compact, lightweight, platform-agnostic pod weighing less than 38 lbs. Easily mounted on fixed wing, rotary wing, and UAS aircraft, the BlackKite system monitors a city-sized area all at once, day and night, automatically detecting and tracking all significant movers. BlackKite's onboard high-performance edge processor easily ingests and converts gigabytes of data for easy storage, or real time dissemination of of live and recorded imagery to users on the ground.

Serenity is an advanced hostile fire detection (HFD) system that combines electro-optical (EO) and acoustic sensors to pinpoint the origin of heavy weapons fire and explosive detonations from up to 10 kilometers away in any direction. This enables a response force to rapidly react to, and potentially deter, further enemy attack. Serenity can be employed as standalone system on both masts and aerostats (and, potentially, manned and unmanned aircraft as well). On an aerostat, however, it can also be coupled with a wide-area motion imagery (WAMI) system, providing operators with additional near real-time and archived imagery.
