It finally happened, which made me realize that relying on an electronic keypad may not be enough. I went out to warm up my car, then came back inside and changed coats, leaving my car and house keys in the first coat. As I was leaving, my bottom lock got locked, and when I got to my car, I realized my key was missing.
I went back to my house to use the keypad, but the door would not open because the bottom lock was locked and my keys were inside. I had to call a friend from work to come and get me. While waiting in my car, I searched for a local locksmith with great Yelp ratings.
He arrived within 15 minutes of my call and opened my door in about 10 seconds. I paid him in cash, and he got me back on my way to work quickly. I was very impressed with the speed of his service, his professionalism, and his understanding. Luckily, my friend did not have to come and get me after all.
