Controlled Key Systems, Inc. is a California licensed lock and security equipment contractor. Our specialties include master key and key control systems, access control systems, intrusion detection systems, architectural hardware systems sales, installation and service for CCTV surveillance cameras and safes.

We specialize in master key system design and maintenance for office buildings, commercial facilities, retail stores, schools, hospitals, and government buildings. Our professional locksmiths attend various manufacturers' certification trainings to stay current with the newest developments in commercial security hardware, locks, automatic door closers, keyless entry locks, and all aspects of commercial locksmithing. Our consultation services provide our customers the expertise to manage and maintain their master key, key control, and building standard hardware systems.

Everything seems to happen on Fridays, and this Friday was no exception! We received a call from our window cleaning company, and some of their crew were stuck on the window stage at one of our high rise buildings. The key for the control box broke in the slot. Unfortunately, we did not have another key, so I called our engineer to see if he could get [the broken piece] out. We brought both halves of the broken key to Controlled Key Systems to see if another could be made. Bob and Tyler were concerned that the key appeared to be custom-made and would need the control box to ensure a perfect match.
