This type of cleaning is the most popular. This process of cleaning sprays soap and water into the carpet, scrubs it then, sucks it back up. This type of cleaning is effective as long as you have a very good vacuum that will pull all of the fine particles out of the carpet afterward. Usually recommended for white carpets or wool and oriental rugs that cannot be cleaned using water. This type of cleaning uses a non-toxic liquid cleaner applied to the carpet that dries as a crystal substance.
