Known for its product quality and tremendous service, Brownsboro Hardware & Paint opened in the fall of 1960 at 4858 Brownsboro Road in Louisville, Kentucky. Jim and Marilyn Lehrer became the owners of the beloved local hardware and paint store in June of 1998. Since the Lehrer Family took over operations, the original store has undergone two expansions, most recently in 2008 with an addition of retail square footage. The Lehrer Family now has also added a location in Prospect that services not only hardware and paint needs but also provides a Greenhouse filled with a variety of plants and landscaping equipment.
