Hit the Deck inc. is a owner operated, licensed and insured company founded in 2009 by Sean Fannon. While Sean was studying Politics, Economics and Law at SUNY Old Westbury, he spent his summers working for a pressure washing and deck maintenance company where he garnered the hands on skills needed in the industry. After obtaining his Bachelors degree in 2008, Sean ventured out on his own, and Hit the Deck inc. was created. Today Hit the Deck inc. is a full service deck maintenance, pressure washing and interior painting company, using only the highest quality tools, products and service on all your outdoor exterior and interior painting needs.
Depending on the condition of your deck, certain cleaning solutions may be needed to enhance the proper removal of dirt, mold and or mildew. A chemical stripper may be necessary, depending on when the deck was last maintained and what type of product was used. Next we will sand the wood which will open the pores as well as smoothening the boards and handrails. This will refreshen the appearance of the deck. If you have a solid sealer on the deck where areas are chipping, we will sand those areas prior to the application of the sealer.

Hit The Deck restored and stained my backyard deck, power washed the house, restored and painted my exterior front metal railings and painted the top and bottom of my exterior columns. The owner Sean was on the entire job with his crew, both days. Sean provided me with a detailed written estimate for the work and his prices are reasonable. This company does Professional work, arrives as scheduled and completed the work efficiently. Sean uses quality paints and deck stain and the color was exactly as I requested. All the work was performed per the contract. All the work looks Beautiful and will last for many years. I highly recommend Hit The Deck to get the job done right.
