Our membership, comprised of seventy-five companies, ranges from small local firms to large multinational corporations and operates across the value chain of energy efficiency. We engage our membership and key policymakers in support of an industry that accounted for more than 71,000 Pennsylvania jobs in 2019. The policy we promote at the state and local level expands the market for energy efficiency. On October 3, 2019, Governor Wolf issued an Executive Order directing the Department of Environmental Protection (DEP) to initiate a rulemaking for Pennsylvania to join the Regional Greenhouse Gas Initiative (RGGI), a multi-state compact of Northeastern and Mid-Atlantic states to reduce carbon pollution.
