Throughout the last four decades, the company has earned a reputation as a highly customer-focused, quality-driven company of innovators. In the spring of 1979, Marc Nol, newly emigrated from Belgium, established Nomaco in Ansonia, Connecticut, to manufacture pipe insulation. Originally a subsidiary of NMC, the Nol family business in Belgium, Nomaco brought the first direct extruded, flexible pipe insulation to the market in the United States.

For more than 25 years, Nomaco's expertise in foam extrusion and complex profile design has helped manufacturers strengthen their position in the highly competitive bedding, juvenile bedding, pet bedding and furniture markets. We have done this by reducing weight, cost, labor and complexity to ultimately improve the look, feel and performance of their products.
