For 28 years, Thermal Industrial Insulation is an authorized installer of the Tufseam® Vertical Standing Seam Tank Insulation System for storage tanks of all shapes, sizes and process applications.
Our panel systems may be applied to any storage tank where operating temperatures do not exceed the system's limitations. First, we inspect the existing tank surface condition. If the tank is rusty, it will be reconditioned by sandblasting and priming We ensute the primer will withstand the elevated tank surface temperatures which will prevail after the installation has been completed. If the tank has been recently primed and/or painted, is free of rust, and is known to have been primed and/or painted with materials capable of withstanding the higher surface temperatures that will prevail after installation of the insulation system, the panels may be installed without further tank surface preparation.
