Glenn Hochstetler established Hochstetler Buildings in 1978. The early focus of the firm centered on equine and agricultural related structures, along with storage buildings, as HB provided the finest in post frame construction for its customers. Today as our customers needs have changed so has HB. Today HB specializes in Design Build Construction. Our professional sales staff will guide customers through the design/build process. This process involves the customer, architect and HB working as a team to construct our customers an energy efficient and low maintenance building.

Post frame construction is the most energy efficient type of construction in the market. Post frame lends itself to being "Green" with large, unobstructed wall cavities for insulation and wood structural framing that are excellent natural insulators. Our exterior walls have an 8 wall cavity for our standard R-19 wall insulation, with up to R-30 easily achieved depending on our customer's needs. This wall insulation package combined with our standard R-40 ceiling insulation makes HB's buildings the most energy efficient in the industry.
