Karl Kehm was born in Germany in 1884. He immigrated to America as a young man. In 1910, he started a concrete masonry company and called it Kehm Construction. Karl also served as a Representative in the NE Legislature. Following in his father's footsteps, Karl Kehm II took the lead role at Kehm Construction in 1948 after returning from military service.
