Shawnee Construction LLC is an owner-operated exterior remodeling company specializing in roofing, siding and windows for homes across Northern New Jersey. We're a "hands-on" company where the owner visits each home, climbs on each roof and provides personal attention to each client. We firmly believe that a roof is not just a roof and certainly isn't just a commodity. We consider each client's specific needs and quote a roofing system that incorporates all the elements required for a thorough job.

Shawnee Construction LLC is owned by Mike McCurdy. Mike was born and raised in Northern New Jersey and after completing his business degreewent to work for an engineering firm where he got his start in the construction industry. Then he movedonto a hands-on local roofing contractor where he learned not only the trade of roofing, siding and windows but also the importance of being thorough and trustworthy. Now with 15 years in the exterior remodeling business Mike is still applying those qualities to his clients at Shawnee Construction.

Shawnee Construction LLC takes great pride in its siding work and we have the certification to prove it! We're certified Master Craftsman for siding and as a commitment to continual improvement we'll be VSI (Vinyl Siding Institute) certified in the near future. Vinyl and Fiber Cement Siding make up the largest percentage of siding projects that we do. We're proud to offer CertainTeed vinyl and fiber cement siding products. CertainTeed is a US based building products manufacturer with 6000 employees spread out over 65 facilities in North America.

Vinyl, fiber cement and cedar siding are all available from Shawnee Construction for our clients. Shawnee Construction installs both new construction and replacement windows depending on your budget and project needs.

Shawnee Construction can help with both replacement and new construction windows from well known market leaders Harvey Building Products and Andersen Windows. If your existing window frames are in good shape then you may be able to install replacement windows as a more economic alternative to new construction. Replacement windows use the existing frame and rely heavily on the weatherproofing qualities of the caulk that's used to keep the weather out.
