Strafford Window Manufacturing, Inc. is a family owned business located in Strafford, NH. We manufacture any size sash, transom, single hung window unit, transom hopper or hopper window unit that you request. All our products are made with high quality eastern white pine and single strength glass. Each window is custom built and we strive to exceed all of our customers' expectations on quality and cost. We are proud of our unique, exceptionally crafted products and the talented people who help us make them.

Strafford Window Manufacturing was founded in 1993. We are a family owned & operated business specializing in the manufacturing of custom transom, sash, hopper and single hung windows for barns, stables, and sheds. Strafford Window Manufacturing, Inc. currently delivers from Maine to Georgia for our wholesale shed manufacturers. We are now branching out to the retail sector where a customer can order one or more than one custom sash or custom transom window or a dozen. Any size you need, we will manufacture!

We are an environmentally friendly business and we continually look for ways to be more energy efficient in our production process. In January 2012, we had a 54 panel, 12,42 KW solar PV system installed on the roof of our business and made substantial upgrades to our 3 phase power systems in order to create a cleaner supply of energy. We are currently producing 100% of our own power and are therefore able to keep production costs down and pass on the savings to our customers. To date, we have offset our carbon footprint by 29.1 tons, equivalent of 2 acres and have produced enough energy to power 3 stadiums for 1 day.

Our sashes are made of all wood. The stiles and rails are 1 3/16" thick x 1 11/16" wide. Muntins are 1 3/16" thick x 11/16" wide. Sashes are screwed together with zinc plated screws. The sashes are true-divided-lites. Stiles, rails and muntins are molded on both sides of the single strength glass (2.5 mm thick) There is a small bead of clear latex silicone caulking where the glass meets the wood on the outside of the window to make them weathertight. Our transoms are made of all wood.
