While I still remain faithful to my United Church of Christ congregation, as a member since 1997, my heart and intellectual and spiritual and social justice practices totally align with that of the UUA. Their "Standing on the Side of Love" actions bring out the best in people. which is difficult in the current world filled with so much anger, distrust, fear, hatred, discrimination, violence and death.

I saw that 54% of your convention voted to divest from Israel. What percent voted to divest from Saudi Arabia, Lebanon, UAE, or other Mideast countries who lack democracy, subjugate women, fund terrorists who attack the US, or oppress members of the LGBT community? Israel has its faults but it is America's closest Mideast ally and is the most democratic in the region. Your priorities are a disgrace.

A great place to be employed and to connect with others committed to justice and compassion.
