We got our start in the window film business back in 1980. There was a local company, Garden State Custom Window Tinting, which we had approached for a summer job. Not only did we get the job, but it continued throughout high school and college and even a few larger jobs after graduation. Our starting role was simply to prep the windows but that then lead to installing film as well as making sales calls. Excel Window Tinting was started in 2002 after moving to the Chicago area and realizing there was a strong need for a high quality window tinting company.
