It began in the homes of our clients in 2005 when they asked if we would take their old window treatments away. We did and we found organizations that would re-use those that were still in good shape. Those treatments that had no life left in them, we dis-assembled and recycled the components. By 2010, it became apparent that this service could keep hundreds of pounds of material out of local landfills if it were extended to the community at large. We did, and they came to our first 2005 public collection point in Belleville, Il and then our second later in the year.

In our Belleville, Illinois workroom our seamstresses fabricate top treatments, drapery panels, specialty fabric items, sheers, tablecloths, runners & pillows every day. Everyone in this room enjoys the craft of fabrication and looks forward to turning out a high quality and custom project. In addition to this workroom, Eye on Design also employs the services of several other workrooms in the midwest when necessary to meet the design requirements, schedule or budget needs of a particular project.
