Butler Custom Doors was founded by Mark Butler, a nationally recognized door and home builder. In 1986, Mark's friends, Dean and Margie Woodard, acquired Butler's door company. Under the ownership of the Woodard family, including daughters Robin & Jill, Butler Custom Doors has earned a reputation of building and offering the finest home products available. In January 2015 Robin and Jill purchased Butler Custom Doors and have taken full ownership of the company. They continue to uphold the stellar reputation that they have earned over the years and are ensuring that Butler Custom Doors will continue to provide outstanding service and products for years to come.

Some doors on this mansion are amazing. Each opening has this unique peaked arch. The home was designed by an English architect, Henry G. Harrison, "The Cliffs" is an example of Victorian Gothic style. Built for NY Senator James William Beekman in 1863-1864, the Cliffs is considered the first of the "Gold Coast" mansions.
