In light of the current environment and out of concern for the health and safety of all participants, AC Business Media-the owner of DHI conNextions-has made the difficult decision to cancel this year's in-person DHI conNextions event, originally scheduled for October 14-15 in New Orleans, in favor of a virtual event.

The Door Security and Safety Foundation engages with all stakeholders in the building construction community to advocate for knowledgeable experts such as DHI-credentialed professionals. Their work is currently focused on healthcare facility maintenance directors, engineers and mechanics for our awareness and education activities surrounding fire door inspection requirements. They also have a campaign for school administrators called "Opening the Door to School Safety" about the unintended consequences of barricade devices and advocating for those with expertise about the opening to provide code complaint solutions.
