Stover Hearth & Patio is Frederick's largest and oldest patio furniture showroom, dedicated to personalized service and superior products. Our showroom features imaginative, trendsetting designs, and our team will help you find the perfect set for your home. During the colder months we offer fireplace doors and hearth accessories, and will effortlessly guide you through the design and installation process. In 1978, Joe Stover built an office for his masonry business and began selling fireplace doors.

Focused on durability and the ability to weather the seasons, outdoor furniture becomes a part of your home and your family. We research our patio furniture brands so they are not only comfortable, but will make it through rain or shine.

Homecrest is our only 100% American-made company, based in a small town in Minnesota. Since 1953, Homecrest has led the outdoor patio furniture industry with innovation, quality, and comfort. We began working with Homecrest in the early 80's, and are routinely impressed with their dedication to customer service. Fun Fact: Chris Stover recently delivered two Homecrest lounge chairs to Berryville, Virginia, over an hour away from our showroom, because our customer had bought Homecrest products over 20 years ago and refused to buy anything else.

A "hearth" is a the cozy and homey area around your fireplace. We do NOT carry gas fireplaces, a woodstoves, or even an electric inserts, though we focus on the area around it which includes glass doors, grates, pokers, and tool sets. We design and install custom fireplace glass doors, as well as the accessories for your fireplace. We used to carry these over 20 years ago, and stopped for a variety of reasons. Our last name used to be incredibly convenient, though now it's only a point of confusion!
