Literally the worst evening. We came with a party of 6, reservations were made, so getting seated was not an issue. It took a good 10 minutes for our waiter to arrive. Since this was a special occasion or table was in good spirits; however, our waiter seemed less than thrilled. When he arrived he did not bring water nor plates for the bread that was shoved into the table. He took our drink orders, did not ask if we should be ordering any appetizers and then rushed off. Again another good 10 minutes gone before 4 out of the 6 drinks showed up and he couldn't even remember where those 4 went and again he scurried off without asking if we wanted to order appetizers. Another 5 or so before returning with the last 2 drinks, which he was unable to place with the right person. He then proceeded to get out his handy dandy notebook to take our order, we were going to order appetizers; however, he literally says, don't, another table ordered several its going to be a cluster back there, you might as well order your food. WoW. Alrighty then, we order our dinner, the wait time was decent. One again he has no idea who ordered what and sucked at placing the plates. He leaves without checking drinks or asking if we need anything else. The food was horrible. Ordered Shrimp Alfredo, the noodles were mush, they might as well have been mashed potatoes. The waiter does not come back around for a good 20 minutes and when he does, he doesn't survey the table, he stands a good couple feet off to the side and states, need anything? Yes, another unsweetened ice tea no lemon, to which he replies, A sweetened ice tea? Again, is this dude kidding me? He doesn't take the time to see plates are pushed away barely eaten, to ask if there is anything wrong with the food. Finally, he stops asks if we're getting dessert, everyone says no but me, so he ignores that, asks how the bill will be split and hands out boxes.

I've been a fan of the Spaghetti Warehouse for over a decade. The one in Arlington has had great service and food nearly every time. (There are, of course, going to be some off days. Life happens.) I've celebrated graduations, birthdays, Mother's Days, Father's Days, and a lot of "Mom-Doesn't-Wa nt-To-Cook-Afte r-Church" days. However, after the changes over the past few months, my family and I now only go when we have Groupons. Otherwise, the regular food is just not worth the price. The great Tiramisu and awesome Italian ice cream have been replaced with Cheesecake Factory desserts with double the calories and at double the price. If I wanted Cheesecake Factory cupcakes, I would buy them. or go to the Cheesecake Factory to eat them. There is a Cheesecake Factory Restaurant literally on the other side of the mall parking lot from the Spaghetti Factory. I CHOOSE to go to an Italian restaurant, not a cheesecake store. The Tiramisu was a real draw for me and the kids loved celebrating their birthdays with the Italian ice cream. Now, those are no longer options. The spaghetti is still really good and the lasagna is, too. The chicken parm is sometimes good and sometimes greasy. So, overall, it is not a bad place, but not worth the price anymore, unless you have discounts.

Took my family yesterday to celebrate my son returning from Iraq. not the best experience. They sat us in the very back of the restaurant where it was freezing cold. The waiter took his time coming back to check on us, and forgot my salad. And didn't tell what the dressings for the same were, just assumed everyone wanted ranch. And took top it off, 1 of the other wait staff passed by out table yelling at another employee that they had City Bbq there for the staff. that's extremely unprofessional, as if the food sucks there. which by the way the itailan burger we orderred 3, and all were dry and the chicken sandwich was over fried. Not at all the experience we were accustomed to. And I still paid the waiter 16% gratuity after all that. Sad
