It all started back in the 1980s when selling cabinet door hardware came into our family's life. My grandfather worked at Keeler Brass/Belwith at the time and was able to get his hands on only a few products. He sold them in his driveway on 28th Street like it was a garage sale. Eventually, he was able to get a few more products so my grandmother had to be involved along with raising her 6 kids. As time passed the store grew and was relocated into their basement which was the beginning of The Basement Store.
