In 2009, AD Systems began designing sliding barn door systems for interior commercial projects where acoustical mitigation, overall performance and space savings were a concern. The intial product solutions were "office fronts" tailored to the needs of higher end corporate clientele who desired customized design features, such as roller blinds and synchronized double doors. These systems provided superior privacy for meetings as well as overall ease of use. These specialized sliding door systems were quickly adapted for the particular needs of healthcare projects and widely adopted for a range of outpatient and inpatient applications based on product performance.

Our latest product offering meets customer needs for acoustic isolation and space-saving design, along with the added benefit of easy, hands-free access. AD Systems is constantly perfecting the art and functionality of the sliding door, and our innovation continues to be. American National Standard for Low Energy Power Slide and Fold Doors when installed and adjusted in the field by an AAADM certified technician. AAADM Certified technicians are trained for infield adjustments and tests that approximate the requirements contained in the latest revision of the ANSI BHMA A156.38.

We designed our perimeter frames and gaskets specifically to close the gaps present around typical "barn doors" and innovated a patent pending sliding door specific drop seal.
