Completed Summer 2020, the Boston University Children's Center serves nearly 100 children of University staff in this 17,000 SF historic home, newly redesigned to provide the highest quality of care. The sustainable net-zero Little School expansion opened its doors for 2020-2021 school year. The new 4,700 SF space is a small but mighty example of the integration of building and landscape design with Lincoln's Reggio Emilia-influenced approach. First-of-its kind in Massachusetts, the 140,000 SF Horizons for Homeless Children Center will improve the education, health and well-being of the city's homeless families by providing early education programs and social services to help parents navigate the many complexities of homelessness.
