Designing a home is a nearly sacred commitment to a client. This is the place where your life will happen and it's a large investment-in time, energy, and money. So we start by listening and asking questions that help us understand who you are, what you envision, how you understand this project, and why you are creating this space-a frame that informs us throughout the project. Regardless of which architect you work with, remember that they should act as midwives to your vision. They really wanted to know what I wanted, and helped me translate it into the language of architecture and building.
