Biber Architects

If every building is a biography (and we think they are), whose biography depends on the architect's approach. We look to the users, the owners, the brief and the context for inspiration, shaping buildings and projects with them in mind. We see our role as interpreters, not the subjects of our projects. We may write and direct these movies, but we try not to star in them as well. Biber Architects is a tightly organized, highly experienced team of architects and designers working for more than 30 years in New York and nationally.

Whether it informs the nature of the subject/client, or the writer/architect, or even the nature of writing/architecture itself, the biography is as mutable in literature as it is in architecture. Twenty years of partnership, not just with architects but with graphic designers, industrial designers and digital designers along with the complement of conventional architectural collaborators (landscape, structural, lighting design, etc.) changed the way we see design.
