New residential construction is a lot of fun to design. They can be an opportunity to be creative. It can be very rewarding to assist a client negotiate between their dreams and the realities of building. The important thing is communication on both sides and keeping expectations in line with budget.
Residential renovations and additions are our bread and butter. A lot of times, the existing conditions can really constrain a project. This is a great reason that bringing a professional on board can be helpful. Renovations can upgrade the curb appeal, , increase energy efficiency, provide new space, rearrange an interior, capture a view, or just fix the bones that hold up the house.
