Bacon Group used "green" architectural design standards to help the new Pasco County Technology Center save over $3,000 every year in energy costs. The project won an Outstanding Project of the Year award from the USGBC Florida Gulf Coast Chapter. Originally called The Bacon Design Group, the firm is located in Clearwater in Pinellas County, in the Tampa Bay area of Florida. Bacon Group Architecture serves public, corporate and individual clients and draws the majority of its work from the public sector -specifically municipalities, county governments, special districts-and public and private not-for-profit providers of services to the community.
