Vavrek Architects is a commercial architect firm established In 2005 based in Northwest Indiana that believes in relationships, good design, practical solutions, enriching communities and environmental stewardship. At the core of our business is our relationships built upon years of open communication and trust. In fact, most of our work comes from referrals from long-term clients, contractors, and consultants. Our communication style is personable, down-to-earth and receptive. It all starts with listening to our client's goals and then collaborating with them to develop a clear vision and a concrete plan to execute it.
Vavrek Architects provides services in all aspects of design and construction. We can offer a turnkey, concept-to-completion package as illustrated below. Or, we can tailor our services to the specific needs of a client or project. For example, in some cases, we provide just the drawings, conceptual designs or renderings. We also engage in design-build projects (an arrangement between contractor and architect in which the contractor takes on a more active role). In such cases, we ensure that our drawings for construction and permitting are fully code-compliant and that the resulting building structures are safe and structurally sound.
Work has begun on our Coffee Bar project for the Hammond Area Career Center. The Coffee Bar is meant to provide business training for students, while creating a welcoming, updated look to ACC's main entry corridor.
