WholeTrees provides turnkey structural systems, custom designed configurations, and decorative components from round timber. We take trees from sustainably managed forests, prioritizing small diameter, low commercial value, and otherwise waste-stream trees, and use their natural form and strength for long-lasting biophilic components. This unmilled structural round timber (SRT) can be up to 50% stronger than milled lumber of the same size. WholeTrees products include columns, beams, and truss assemblies for cost-competitive, low embodied carbon alternatives to steel, concrete, or laminated wood products.
