The initial conversation is developed into a building program and preliminary sketches. These sketches undergo modifications and revisions based on meetings with the client. During the process, detail is added to ensure that the final solution matches the client's objective. A successfully completed project will not be a "kerr 3 design"; rather it will result in a distinct project that reflects the unique priorities and objectives of each of our clients.

Design + Build is a project method where the owner, architect, and contractor function as an integrated team, which provides improved communication and understanding between all parties. The most important aspect of Design + Build is single source responsibility. Discrepancies between architect and contractor are eliminated, since kerr 3 design group and Red Sky Constructors are a unified team. An owner negotiates with one contract rather than two. Also, the overall time frame for project completion is compressed, because one company is handling the work load.
