We opened our doors in 1986 and to this day remain captivated by what is ahead. For a generation, we have enjoyed receiving many awards, but of greater value to us is the trust of our clients. A good word from any of them is worth more than all the words we could say ourselves. We never rest on a particular style or successful design. The project, the site, and most of all, the individual client serve as our guide to what is possible. We approach each new project in this way. Distinguishing Jackson & Ryan Architects is that one team will shepherd a project all the way through completion, rather than handing it off from department to department.
Allowing diversity of thought and nurturing the opportunity to explore make Jackson & Ryan Architects a special place for designers to start and develop their career. We look for people brimming with optimism, desire, talent and initiative. Everyone here produces. We help fine-tune the skills of our newest hires, nurture their expertise, then let them loose - allowing them the professional independence that leads to personal fulfillment. We've never been a "one size fits all" kind of firm. We're not bound by a reputation for a particular design style.
We take it very personally. Jackson & Ryan Architects donates a considerable number of hours each year to help others, which in turn makes us, as individuals, very happy. We're proud to partner with worthwhile organizations in order to help them achieve their vision and mission. This recent offshoot from Jackson & Ryan Architects enables our people to spend up to 10 percent of their time on a non-profit of their choice, providing architectural services the non-profit could not otherwise afford. Established in 2004, this revolutionary new program has pioneered innovative programs that connect the nation's top executives, entrepreneurs and MBA students with convicted felons.
