We believe architecture has a relationship with a piece of land, an environment, a city, a culture, a history, a client and an economy. Our philosophy is to listen attentively to such and take nothing for granted. We do not begin projects with preconceived ideas about what the project should be, but rather let the environment and our clients' needs guide the process of architectural design. At FAI, all aspects of design come from investigations into the site, studies of structure, spatial relationships and arrangement of elements as they exist in their historical and cultural contexts.
