As a custom home designer & residential architect practicing in the Texas Hill Country, Principal Architect Dale Dibello believes that context is key in the design of new buildings. He follows a regional approach influenced by the diverse cultures that have shaped the Texas Hill Country and the Austin/San Antonio corridor. The rugged beauty and complexity of the land as well as the history of the place all inspire our custom home designs. Dale pursues clarity and simplicity as the design approach for his work, and believes that beauty and harmony are best found in patterns of traditional and classical architecture.

Our master planning process involves conceptual planning for an entire property, including multiple structures, drives, walks, and fences. It is immensely helpful for long-range planning of a large property. The master plan usually leads into the design of one or more structures within the plan.

In response to your vision, we begin to tell a story about a home, told initially with hand-drawn floor plans and sketches that convey the design and evoke an emotional response. The process of developing the design continues with computer drawings. It is an interactive process, with frequent input from you, leading to the completion of the construction drawings. During construction, we collaborate with the Builder and craftsmen, visiting the site and providing clarification and sketches to carry out the design intent.

Our clients choose Dibello Architects for our expertise in designing custom homes that fit gracefully into the context of the Texas Hill Country landscape. Our ability to listen to their dreams and goals for their home and comprehensively weaving together solutions suited to the uniqueness of their site, sets us apart. Dibello Architects is a regional residential architectural practice providing custom home design and planning services in the Texas Hill Country.

Tressa finds her greatest enjoyment in working on traditional and historic residential projects and genuinely cares about staying true to the roots of an architectural style. Her passion for historical architecture and understanding of the importance of preserving and respecting the past enhance her ability to make sure each home embodies timeless character. As Project Manager for Dibello Architects, Tressa is responsible for the management needs of the client and project from inception to completion of construction.

As Senior Project Designer for Dibello Architects, Joey is responsible for project design and management from schematic design through the completion of construction, including ongoing communication with clients, consultants, contractors, and craftsmen. Joey takes a classical approach to design, working within the language of the traditional, vernacular design precedents of the region, and rooting each project to the landscape. His goal is to create honest, comfortable spaces that give the user an intimate relationship with the site.

As Design Director for Dibello Architects, Dale pursues clarity and simplicity as the design approach for his work. This pursuit is guided by his conviction that beauty and harmony are best found in patterns of traditional and classical architecture. For Dale, the hope is that both the paintings and the architecture will give you a place to step into - a place to rest and contemplate for awhile. Many of his clients echo this sentiment, referring family and friends to the architect who shared their initial vision and designed their homes to "feel just right."
