Lanning Architecture

Lanning Architecture is an innovative general interest architecture firm located in Tucson Arizona. We emphasize a "process", rather than a style, working closely with our clients to arrive at elegant solutions that work for everyone involved. We provide some measure of green or sustainable architecture in every project and utilize many of the "alternative" building materials and systems. We primarily work in residential design and at times offer services for commercial and other work as well. We enjoy designing new houses, remodels and additions to existing residences.

My name is Bob Lanning and I live in downtown Tucson, and run the architectural firm Lanning Architecture. My wife and business partner, Kate Hiller, works as a designer in our firm. We have a son named Cole who attends University High School. I came to Tucson in 1979 to attend the University of Arizona and received my Architecture degree in 1984. I became a registered architect in 1988, and worked in several architectural firms in downtown Tucson until starting Lanning Architecture in 1999. To each project I bring, energy, experience, and enthusiasm.
