Aia Santa Barbara

The AIA Santa Barbara Chapter serves our members and the profession of architecture through advocacy, professional development and the promotion of design excellence. We advocate for the value of architecture and provide resources our members need to drive positive change in the community through design. Every five years, AIASB publishes a formal update to its Strategic Plan. This plan is the guiding document for how the Chapter will evolve and improve its services to members and the community. The American Institute of Architects Santa Barbara is a not-for-profit corporation organized and existing under the laws of the State of California for the purposes of conducting operations and activities as an organization eligible for tax-exempt status under Section 501(c)(6) of the Internal Revenue Code.

AIA SB members (Architect, Associate and Emeritus members only) - it's time to elect your 2021 Board of Directors. Candidates who receive a majority of the votes cast are elected. Results will be announced at the annual Gala on December 3rd and those elected will assume their responsibilities on January 1, 2021.
