As part of Harbin's master-planned re-build after the 2015 Valley Fire, this new building will be located at the center of the Upper Mainside Area, just downhill from the Baths and across from the iconic Gazebo. A community gathering spot, the complex will host films, meetings, and lectures, house Harbin's extensive lending library, and serve warm drinks and snacks. The building sits on a stone plinth parallel with the hillside slope, gradually increasing in height towards the east. Pergolas, broad eaves, and a generous eastern gable overhang provide numerous shaded outdoor seating areas, accommodating gatherings throughout the sunny days and dark nights.
