Bassetti Architects was founded in 1947 by Fred Bassetti FAIA - architect, teacher, and prime contributor to the mid-century northwest modern architectural style. Under Fred's design leadership, many well-loved local landmarks have become part of our legacy: Pike Place Sanitary Public Market, Seattle Aquarium, Jackson Federal Building, Seattle Municipal Tower, and the Woodland Park Children's Petting Zoo. Bassetti Architects continues this legacy of working with public and non-profit agencies to provide meaningful, enduring, and functional buildings.
