Greg Thompson is a good man with a heart of gold. He is a man of great integrity. An honorable, trustworthy, reliable person - and frankly, just about the hardest working' guy in town. When you meet this fellow - with his brainy-brain, sweet smile, patient nature, his glib sense of humor, his handsome rugged face, and that signature cowboy hat, well we know you will want to do business with Greg and his team here at Pennsylvania Tree Service. Yep, he's got loads of super qualities. To start with, he's a loving, dedicated husband and father of 5 beloved and growing children!

Greg has a team of designers who are professionally affiliated, dedicated, very creative, and great to work with. They have many years of experience working along the Main Line and beyond. They have a real solid sense of aesthetics and a knowledge of the flora and fauna that thrives most heartily in this region. They can help you plan, and create new gardens and landscaping around your home, and can also help you revive, and beautify existing gardens and landscapes.

We grind stumps at the time of removal, or can be called in to grind down preexisting stumps. We use a large stump grinder, and have access at a smaller one to get into smaller places if necessary. Old stumps can be generally ugly. They decay, and can end up housing rodents and bees, and insects of all kinds, especially termites. If a stump is ground down with our stump grinder, it is easier to plant or build something else in its place. We can apply seed, so the "hole" in the lawn is replaced by grass.

We work closely with homeowners, developers, and builders for lot clearing so that new houses, residential additions or commercial storefronts can be built. Excavation is a process that involves our men and our machines. We remove trees, brush and stumps and debris from an area and then if necessary grade or level the land for construction, and prepare the area for utility installation and also future tree installation.

Fences define property lines, keep kids and pets safe, and enhance the aesthetic quality of the property. We also install berms, these are barriers made by creating a dirt wall / embankment. Lots of topsoil needs to be brought in. People sometimes have these created to block headlights or traffic sounds, etc, should they live near congested throughways.

Our Region is among the most beautiful in the country, however it is also home to many storms throughout all the seasons. Whether it be ruthless ice storms in the winter, or raging thunderstorms in the summer with high winds -Unfortunately, many times trees get uprooted, split and fall down during these terrible storms. Greg and Pennsylvania Tree Service, Inc. are committed to be here for you 24 hours a day, anytime, day or night, should you need our immediate assistance. Greg has many decades of experience, the right equipment, and an excellent team to gently, precisely and quickly remove the tree or limb from any structure or vehicle.
