New Urban Forestry is an elite team of professional arborists, designers, and gardeners delivering exceptional service and environmentally conscious solutions for our clients and our community's urban forests. Our approach is unique. There is an interconnected network among trees, plants and soils; we evaluate the property as a whole and determine the best approach for each client. Trees may need pruning, cabling, soil care, or treatment to suppress insects and disease. Our goal is to enhance the utility and health of trees, shrubs and soils.
New Urban Forestry is the only TCIA Accredited company in our area, and with Certified Arborist, Board-Certified Master Arborist and Tree Risk Assessment Qualification credentials, we are clearly passionate about our craft. We like to think of ourselves as old souls with new technology. Trees are our community's largest living asset. They reduce stormwater runoff, sequester atmospheric carbon, reduce energy costs, and improve mental health. Rather than reacting to tree problems as they occur, the most effective way to manage tree care is with a thoughtful, proactive plan.
Our team has an appreciation for the benefits afforded by healthy trees, and our skilled arborists have a knowledge of the physiology of trees and a thoughtful approach to each pruning cut we make. Our copper cabling system prevents lightning by extending from air terminals near the top of every major trunk down to 10-foot copper ground rods below the tree's drip line are relatively inconspicuous, non-injurious, permanent, and very reliable. As stewards of the environment, we recycle all of our green waste into mulch, compost, soils and other products.
